About the Group Account Director Role
The Group Account Director plays a pivotal role in the structure of our client Hives. You will be a true marketing partner to our clients, and will be the ongoing face of Brainlabs: supporting clients through shaping and developing our offering and pushing the teams to go above and beyond expectations for the client.
As you will be responsible for delivering results for our clients, the Group Account Director will have strong knowledge of performance marketing and experience in moving clients beyond a pure paid search approach.
The Group Account Director will have experience and confidence in managing a team of talented account managers and directors and drive operational excellence.
Key responsibilities will include:
Operational and team management:
Responsible for directly managing 2-4 Account Directors or Senior Account Managers, and indirectly responsible for managing a team of 4+ individuals in total
Charged with managing and developing team processes and practices to drive operational excellence
Responsible for motivating direct and indirect team members to maintain high levels of team morale and productivity
Working with the client partner to drive the profitability of your team and portfolio.
Managing relationships with a number of clients, working closely with marketing managers across a range of verticals
Leading and owning upselling and cross-selling our services to your client portfolio
Supporting our growth team with pitch processes, presenting in pitches 2 to 4 times each year
Owning the performance of complex client accounts across multiple channels
Working proactively to drive client growth and avoid errors
Flagging and reacting to threats and opportunities on the client portfolio

All sounds great right? So here’s what we are looking for:
Supreme client management skills, able to drive client success and build rapport
Significant experience working in performance marketing
Experience managing a minimum of 3 team members
Experience working on technically complex client accounts
Experience managing clients across search, social and programmatic display
Experienced in growing performance-focused businesses from search-only to multi-channel
Strong data and measurement background
Experience providing forecasts for client revenue to support client partner with P&L management
