We’re absolutely crushing it in the UK and the US and we are now looking for a Data Strategy Director to join our UK team to continue this charge. Reporting into the SVP of Data Strategy, you act as a consultant to our major client on how to use our wider Data Services capability to challenge the norm, solve business problems, and create business growth.

Who you are

A confident leader experienced in client-facing roles. With a history of working with clients to understand and translate business and marketing challenges into data and technology-driven solutions that drive incremental value in a commercially viable way. You will be comfortable being the trusted advisor in the room and leading a team of similarly motivated individuals, whilst also getting hands-on and building new solutions for our clients.

Give me a breakdown of what the Data Strategy Director at Brainlabs will do

The focus of the role is to ensure we build and deliver client-first solutions to solve wider client and marketplace business challenges, utilising new and existing data products to drive incremental outcomes. You will contribute to the UK growth and product strategy, helping to shape the narrative of the wider team alongside the rest of the Data Services leadership team.

  • Clients: You will be responsible for delivering value and satisfaction to our wider client base and your direct client Hive.
  • People: Support and grow the knowledge and capability of our wider Data Strategy team, alongside driving an improved data proficiency across the Hive you are responsible for.
  • Commercial: Revenue generation from new and existing clients and delivery of our commercial targets will be a key part of your role.
  • Product: Co-Creation of new Brainlabs solutions based upon direct clients' challenges and needs alongside the wider UK Data Services and COE team.
  • Collaboration: Working in partnership with our Client Partners, Hive teams, product leaders and COE community to deliver data and technology first thinking to our clients.
  • Agency: You will act as a leader in the Data Services community and help shape the future of the proposition for the business. Your knowledge and capability will drive forward the understanding and development of what Data Strategy is within Brainlabs, and lead to improved data proficiency throughout the business.

All sounds great, right? So here’s what we are looking for:

  • Have either a Data Science or MarTech Solutions background with problem-solving capabilities
  • Use your knowledge of marketing in conjunction with your extensive expertise to build innovative solutions to client challenges
  • Work with our Global Engineering Team and Indian Centre Of Excellence to deliver projects
  • Work with different functions, clients and client teams to identify challenges, design and sell solutions and deliver them with your team
  • Have a commercial mindset and actively seek out new opportunities
  • Use your strong practical knowledge and experience of either Python and SQL to clean, transform and model data to produce actionable outputs, or technology solutions to design and scale infrastructure designs that maximise the collection and use of data
  • Use your skills to mock up working prototypes and collaborate with Engineering to transform them into productionised solutions and platforms
  • Work confidently on Google Cloud Platform with products like BigQuery, App Engine, Compute Engine, AutoML and VertexAI
  • Use your strong statistical knowledge to design robust experiments to test our products in the market
  • Be a strong and articulate communicator with both written and spoken
  • Be curious and innovative; research and develop new approaches and solutions to industry challenges
