About the Designer Role

We’re looking for an experienced UX and UI Designer, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the industry. You will take the lead and utilise the incredible insights gathered from our talented analytic and research teams and be able to create a thought out best in class experience for a vast array of clients and their customers. In doing so you will leave no corner unturned in the experience and interface the user receives in the output produced

You’ll also have the confidence to reach outside the briefs set and challenge existing site experience and design and be able to communicate confidently with backed data as to why areas remaining untouched could be further improved.

We work in multi-disciplinary teams to help clients better understand how their current solutions are performing and therefore where the focus is required. You’ll work closely with other Designers, Data Analysts, User Researchers and Developers to ensure no corner is left unturned in discovering where every opportunity lies in helping our clients to achieve top-class solutions for all their customers’ wants and needs.

You will have, many, of the following:

  • 3+ years experience of working within a fast-paced digital design team in which you are creating original end-to-end user-centred design solutions and following brand guidelines where applicable is a necessity
  • Experience in contributing and creating design systems within Figma and using Figma to create high fidelity working prototypes
  • Ability to create clickable wireframes to display the UX of a solution prior to embarking on the UI Design
  • Strong UI Design skills are a necessity with an eye for detail
  • Evidence of creating successful UX and/or UI solutions displaying, for example, navigation elements, taxonomies, user flows, engagements, interactions, messaging, typography, layouts etc
  • The ability to juggle multiple design projects with varying needs
  • An understanding of analytics and/or user research and being able to display one's ability to utilise this to form the direction of the UX and UI solutions will be a strong advantage
  • Cross-device UX and UI design are essential in this application
  • An understanding of creating solutions for A/B testing purposes
  • Strong presentation skills (creating prototype-ready solutions, placing designs in relevant context etc) and the ability to confidently present UX and UI designs to multiple stakeholders internally and externally
  • Strong understanding of the wider user journey, taking in digital and offline touchpoints
  • Must be able to lead, initiate and participate in workshops and regular sharing sessions
  • Confidentially work independently, collaboratively and when needed initiate additional collaboration with peers where necessary
  • Be able to support and mentor peers wherever needed
  • Be able to design to adhere to all usability and accessibility standards
  • Agile Sprints experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Being an active member in client meetings and status calls
  • It's a bonus If you can demonstrate a consultative approach to clients/projects
  • Perhaps most importantly - a proactive, investigative attitude, and a mindset that is willing to learn
