About the role:

Our dedicated Google Marketing Platform (GMP) team in the UK is looking for a data-driven, technical client leader to head up our GMP function! In this position you will lead and support the following:

  1. Own the GMP product in the UK, including internal publicity, best practice, and training.
  2. Build, develop and nurture a growing team of GMP consultants
  3. Consult and guide the growing number of clients who partner with us on GMP in the UK on a technical and consultative basis helping them to grow their businesses.
  4. Working in partnership with the NewBiz and internal delivery teams to align and cross-sell the GMP stack to existing and new customers, improving the knowledge and use of GMP across the agency.
  5. Work with the global GMP leads to share learnings and create a global best practice that is unique to Brainlabs and our clients.

The role of the GMP team is to help clients navigate business challenges through the use of GMP technology whilst looking for further opportunities to drive ever-better results. The team’s role is as varied as our clients are - strategy, pitching, training sessions, upselling into other products and building close relationships with Google stakeholders will all be a part of you and your team’s day-to-day.

What are we looking for?

  • Able to lead pitches and commercial conversations with clients of all sizes
  • Knowledge of the major challenges facing clients and an understanding of how to approach these, including:
    • Data management
    • Privacy & tracking (ITP, ETP, Cookies, GDPR, CCPA)
    • Attribution
    • Google Analytics migrations
  • Astute, analytical and detail-oriented
  • Data-driven and technical knowledge of how the Google Marketing Platforms work
  • Solutions-focused, self-motivated, good under pressure and loves a challenge
  • Adaptive communication style and the ability to talk with all levels of a client’s business
  • Process is driven and focused on building for scale
