Our Optimisation Consultants are primarily responsible for the client relationships and strategic direction for our wonderful and diverse list of well-known brands in the realm of conversion rate optimisation (CRO). Overall accountability of client happiness and satisfaction is down to you but you will lead a team of specialists in UX, Design, Development, QA and Analytics to help you achieve this, as well as access to the wider Brainlabs teams (e.g. Data Science, Paid Search, SEO, etc.).
You will have a lot of freedom in the way you work with the client, by establishing and delivering to agreed objectives in the best way you and your team see fit. Through a combination of experimentation and wider optimisation activities, all driven by qualitative and quantitative insights, you will ensure the clients feel engaged and see their relationship with us, Brainlabs, as a strong and important partnership.
It’s a challenging role where you will be expected to push boundaries, prioritise effectively, engage with senior stakeholders and lead the team to solve problems with customer insight at the heart of what you do. What does my day-to-day look like:
Showing a keen interest in the client's wider business goals and strategy
Supporting in the strategy and approach for uncovering new opportunities for the client to achieve their wider business goals
Organising themes/patterns of client or user problems to create solutions for yourself and the team to address
Determining how to best deploy skill sets in your team to achieve objectives and attack business challenges
Expressing enthusiasm and leadership to collaborate for ideas and planning with the wider internal team (and clients)
Regular communication with your clients on the progress of their bespoke optimisation programme
Building trust with clients through a mix of strong communication and excellent service
Displaying strong organisation skills to ensure the team are on track and able to quickly react to new challenges
UAT testing of experiments using your knowledge and experience of CRO

We’d love you to have many, or all of the following:
Experience in strategy and/or planning (Note: while preferred, this strategy/planning experience does not have to have been in a purely digital role)
Experience in a digital setting with a strong appreciation for what makes for a good user/customer experience
Passion for solving customer problems - pushing boundaries to address these
Appreciation of e-commerce, with innovative ways to create “best practices” for optimal user experience
Experience engaging with different C-level executives
Expertise in leading and challenging multidisciplinary teams to generate valuable, genuine insight and deliver high-quality solutions
Ability to understand and apply commercial logic to analytics (e.g. from Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.) and/or user research
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and communicate on these effectively
Background in supporting the generation of creative ideas to solve user or client problems
Experience with workshop preparation and facilitation (virtual and/or in-person)
Any additional skills or experience that could be relevant to delivering a successful optimisation programme to clients, e.g. content optimisation, design experience, research experience, analytics background, etc.
It would be an added bonus if you also have:
Experience working with AB testing tools (e.g. Monetate, AB Tasty, Dynamic Yield, Optimizely, etc.)
Understanding of the role of technology in how we can deliver for clients, thinking ahead about possible future solutions
Commercial understanding of the digital landscape and trends
Ability to identify areas of opportunity to upsell skill sets or identify areas of opportunity in their business
