  2. Accelerate our journey to Retail Media beyond Amazon

This role is for the Marketplace arm of the business - a global full-service Amazon agency, helping brands grow their Amazon business worldwide. We are in the process of expanding our Retail Media offering beyond Amazon and are looking for someone to help lead the development of our offering during this exciting time.

What this job is:

  • Strategic - providing strategic direction. Using your experience and expertise to help refine and develop our Retail Media offering
  • Commercial - you’ll be responsible for leading the team to grow our existing accounts across Retail Media, as well as joining pitches to win new clients
  • People focused - offering leadership and direction to our current PPC team

  • Behind-the-scenes - you’ll be a leader in Retail Media space and will want to spread the word on its value to both internal and external stakeholders

Give me a breakdown of what a Retail Media Director at Brainlabs does:

  • Oversee our existing 9-person Retail Media team, leading them on our journey to expand the Retail Media offering and get the best results for our clients
  • Feed into wider business commercial decisions to drive Retail Media as a priority product
  • Lead & support on pitches to help drive the growth of our Retail Media offering and be an expert in the field, both to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate on the development & standardization of internal team processes to establish account management best practices & efficient workflows
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends & research as it relates to eCommerce, retail media networks, & digital marketplaces channels
  • Maintain proactive relationships with local teams from key Retail Media partners including Criteo and Citrus Ads
  • Work with top-tier clients to consult and advise on what is required

What we really want:

  • Someone who can lead and develop the Retail Media team to drive growth for our existing offering, as well as build and develop our Retail Media proposition across non-Amazon retailers

What particular set of skills would suit this role?

  • Experience successfully managing Amazon Advertising
  • Working knowledge of campaign management & research solutions for digital marketplaces (Pacvue, Helium10, JungleScout, etc.)
  • Experience managing and growing a team
  • Ability & ambition to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment (agency experience would be a preferred)
  • Strong client leadership skills & account management experience
  • Process development & implementation experience
  • Experience managing retailers such as Tesco, Sainsburys, and Argos would be a bonus

You’ll be winning for your Retail Media clients, helping them achieve their business objectives - growing their business as well as Brainlabs’ Retail Media offering & understanding by building relationships, trust, and connections with your colleagues regionally and globally.

This role is offers remote / hybrid working and must be based in the UK.
